Marie-Louise Francis is a dual-qualified attorney and legislative drafter with extensive experience in corporate and financial law across the Eastern Caribbean.

Her practice encompasses banking, corporate and commercial matters, real estate, and legislative analysis and drafting. Marie-Louise brings a practical dimension to her client advisory work,  through her direct involvement in the Firm’s commercial and administrative operations — giving her a grounded, real-world perspective on the challenges her clients face in their own businesses and affairs.

She has served as Corporate Secretary to the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange and the Eastern Caribbean Central Securities Depository, with responsibility for legal and corporate governance, board management, and regulatory compliance. Her background also includes experience in the financial services sector, as former in-house counsel at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, where she advised on banking law matters, provided legal oversight of mergers and acquisitions, and drafted and analyzed policies and financial legislation for regional stakeholders.
